In loving memory of Ipso Facto. This video represents a (succesful) experiment in pulling together something more from a simple one-take studio recording, to create an aesthetic music video in record time from simple resources.
The piece is modeled loosely on the final act of the 1929 G.W Pabst classic Die Büchseder Pandora (Pandora’s Box) starring the iconic Louise Brooks – which when you look at the band, is hardly a massive leap of logic.
Directed by Tony Mines, DOP Tim Drage, with additional editing from Alec Rossiter and make up by Sophie Knock. Additional Art Directing by Ciaran O’Shea. Special thanks go out to Molinare and Tandem Films for use of their facilities.
All music by Rosalie Cunningham and Ipso Facto.
